• Local storage (localStorage) — favorites, search preferences, recent search history. Stored only in your browser.
• Consent cookie — records your consent choices. Duration: 1 year.
• IP address — used for rate limiting (abuse protection). Not stored.

• Legitimate interest — for necessary storage (display theme) and rate limiting

Third-Party Processors

• Perplexity AI — Search API (United States). Search queries are sent for processing.
• Vercel Inc. — Hosting (Europe region).

Search queries are transmitted to Perplexity AI (United States) under standard contractual clauses.

• Local storage: until the user clears their browser data

• Search queries: not retained
